// Studio time
I can't believe it's been just over a year since Candice Kaye Design launched. Actually I can, so much has happened since - and I'm feeling like it's time for another change. It's time to revamp, clean up, and take huge risks into the unknown. Candice Kaye Design has a new set of goals that are yet to be met. Very excited to share this new transformation with you. In the next three months you can expect some changes ;) These photos are a collection taken from the "Meet Candice" section of this website. I'm in the process of making a new "About" section and it's looking and sounding really different. It light of all this change and transformation - new horoscopes are up. Happy Wednesday guys x -C

Pickle day! How picture perfect does New York look. Each station was filled with all different kinds of pickles. Like bbq and sweet and sour pickles mm mm delicious. This weekend felt like a true New York weekend. We slept in, we did a little work, we went out, had late night chinese food, and we watched football on Sunday at a bar while popping in and out to fill our bellies with pickle snacks. Love you New York. x -C
// Powder Room Mural
I started my morning off in the beautiful home of Hannah and Brendan. They've asked me to design a custom mural for their downstairs powder room in their newly renovated home in the East Village. We got our strike offs in today, and they look INSANE. Rob and Kyra from Twenty2 wallpaper were [as always] spot on with the color and quality. Hannah and I literally said "wow" for about five minutes, then we tapped the murals to the wall, and continued to say wow a little longer. Very excited to be apart of their new beginning in this home. Can't wait to show you final photos once everything is done! x -C
// Sweat it out
This is me - post run. I believe I'm listening to Drake's new album, orr Fight Song on repeat. Probably Fight Song. While on my run I was thinking about life, and New York, and how incredible it is that I live here. I often times forget that I do. I was thinking about how happy I am that it's October. Anyone else have a messed up September? It's definitely been a very weird/changing/decision making month for me. It felt like it lasted for one year, but at the same time max three days. I introduced myself to meditation, and i've been sticking to them. If you haven't tried and want to, I highly recommend it. Centers your mind, and allows you to connect to your most present self. Running around feeling busy can and will definitely throw you off and keep you distracted from what your body really needs. I'll stop getting all "the meaning about life" and shit, but I learned something really valuable that I needed to share with you. It's about the meaning of "hard work" and it's connection to your true success. I used to think hard work was the key to everything. The secret is, "hard work" on it's own can really get you nowhere. It's the direction you choose to put your hard work that will make progress. I know it sounds pretty obvious but working 17 hour days doing the same thing [talking about myself here] in hopes that things will change is definitely hard work - but pointless. Really pointless. It just creates a routine of zero growth and zero change. Yes, I've been extremely fortunate to be apart some really incredible projects. But what if those project got 100% of my time, creativity and energy, what growth will that bring ;) I'm ready for drastic changes. I need them to build what I came to New York to build. Just something to think about. Happy TGIF ya''ll x -C
// Location: Central Park
And just like that, it was October. I can't believe how quickly this summer went. Very excited for the leaves to start changing in this city. Walks in Central Park, cold Sunday mornings under the covers which will eventually lead to a close by bar to drink beer and watch football. Not that I'm a huge football fan, I just love the culture of it. Happy October :) x -C
