A couple weeks ago Dan and I road tripped to Philly for the weekend. I forgot I took iPhone footage of the weekend! Happy Monday! x -C
// 7/11
Queen of surprises. Not only dropping two new songs on her website, she out does herself again and makes a music video for one of them. This has to be her best one yet.

TGIF fun at home this weekend! It's time for a New York City break. Can't wait to see my most favourite people in the world. Happy weekend! x -C
// Location: ABC Home, 888 Broadway New York, NY
ABC Home. Ah, what a fabulous place to spend a snowy Saturday afternoon. I believe there are 7 floors. All full of awesomeness. I'm the type of person who would rather spend the afternoon in a home decor store than shop for clothes. Maybe this can explain why I feel like I have none. If you're traveling to New York anytime soon, I would highly recommend an afternoon spent here with a early dinner at the ABC kitchen restaurant. x-C
// Candice kaye Design Studio
Candice Kaye Design studio has been hard at work lately sketching out new ideas for a additional pieces to the collection [textile and jewelry]. Above is a hand cuff I've been dreaming about wearing one day. Roula [the lovely lady who has been making all of my pieces @fianceejewellers] and I have decided that for now another Brooch is the best way to go! My mind has been dreaming up ideas since I opened my eyes this morning. Excited to get some new and innovative ideas down on paper.
Side note: Orders have been coming in for Farrah for holiday parties + gifts. We have only made a limited! Place your orders now! x -C
// Location: Bath, London in some really cute high tea restaurant.
I'm curled up in my bed sipping on whiskey looking through photos from Bath, England. I'm getting that travel bug again. It's been a while since I've taken off over seas. Maybe the next time I leave home will be for a really cool project that takes place in a cute little town in London, or the South of France. Ouuu or with Alice Temperley. I feel like the more times I say her name that closer I am to one day working with her. The Secret people. Com'on.
It's cold outside, which only means one thing at this time in New York, 1. An excuse to stay in every night [with the exception of a cute cozy bar] and 2. Christmas time : ) I can't wait to start dragging Dan to Saturday afternoon markets. Alright, shutting it down. x -C
// Calixte
Calixte, the perfect gift this holiday season. Side note: I can't believe I'm already saying Holiday season. I love the way the chains hang when the piece is on, keeps the eye moving. Such a statement. You can shop here for your very own! x -C

It's been another 7 day work week. I'm a little on the exhausted side. But as always, New York doesn't care. Hello Monday morning!
On my train ride to DC Thursday [for a work trunk-show], I finally put down "The 4-Hour Work Week" by Timothy Ferriss. A highly recommended book. I've been saving pages, circling key points, and scribbling notes throughout the read and I wanted to share one of my favourites. Tim says, "Having an unusually large goal is an adrenaline infusion that provides the endurance to overcome the inevitable trails and tribulations that go along with any goal". It's the truth. Setting goals extremely high does force you to be brave, ask for what you want, and be true to your goal.
I picked up the latest issue of Time Magazine with Taylor Swift's face on it on my way back to New York. "The Power of Taylor Swift" at 25 years old? I mean that's insane. The article talks about her ability to stand her ground at such a young age. She knew what she wanted, and for that 10 years later she was rewarded. It's inspiring. It's also inspiring to know that her success was not overnight [patience and I aren't the best of friends].
My Sunday morning was spent with Judy Kim at Maman. We walked over to her friend's store for a little inspiration. Michele Varian's style is just textile heaven am I right?
Alright, time to get going x -C
