Sooo this is what I look like when I'm at home. Whatever long dress I can find in my closet so I don't need to wear pants and an old robe that is as comfortable as it looks. This outfit would belong couch bound curled up watching a love movie. Speaking of love movies, I recently just watched The Longest Ride. Super cheesy and wonderfully predictable. My favourite. God, I love my double chin in that photo. I'm so good looking.

// Newest project 

My newest project is bringing me back to summer, and I'm not complaining [although this beautiful almost fall weather is getting me ready for a climate change. Baggy sweatshirts on the couch on a cozy Sunday with football playing in the background :)] Rogers is redoing all of their offices, and Candice Kaye Design will be frosted throughout the offices on all the glass surfaces :) Pretty friggin cool. Can't wait to see the finished product! Happy Tuesday.

// New York Fashion Week

Hello!! I'm back in the city. The city just feels different during fashion week. Maybe it's just me. No it's not, New York feels pretty magical. Something about September feeling like a fresh start. Runways of new clothes that you can imagine yourself wearing on your new and improved self a couple months down the road. I stole these photos off of my favourite morning coffee read, The Coveture from the DVF show. I'm in love with all the looks. I can just see myself in these beautiful easy breezy dresses on my yacht sailing the waters in Italy, sipping on my mid day cocktail. How delicious. Hi! Happy Saturday morning. I hope you guys had a really fun Friday night. Just wanted to say hello with some palm trees. The summer collection is still very much available! Maybe it's time to start thinking about your summer house for winter time escape. I can't believe I just said the word winter..

It's Fashion Week in New York, a week for the past two years since living here has been my favourite week of the year. The weather is still beautiful, lower Manhattan is packed with fashionable people and photographers, and parties filled with celebrities go all night long. I shot runway my first year in New York. I loved everything about the photographers pit  and shooting street style. It's funny how much life can change in just a year or so. I'm currently home, taking a little break from New York, sitting in my backyard and working on my newest design collaboration with Rogers. I plan to return to all the fashion week fun, just the next time not holding my camera crammed in the photographers pit, or running around chasing all the well dressed street style. Perhaps I make a runway of my own? Interior textile on runway with moving walls and a chandelier stage. I like the sounds of that :) Dreaming big over here. I hope you're enjoying the morning! x -C

It's September people. Which means it's time to take down your summer wallpaper, and put up Collection N Twelve. This collection was designed with dark grounds and bright artwork. The contrast is meant to give that rich fall cozy feeling, yet still maintain brightness and excitement. // Summer vibes

Ok, it's not the end of the summer just yet. New York's weather is still hot throughout September so let's not get ahead of ourselves. This weekend was the most relaxing weekend I've had at the shore yet. No boat days, just a packed cooler and beach time. It was much needed. I feel like I've been non-stop since December. New job, flights home for weddings and bachelorettes, VISA's, apartment moving across town, new collections, launch parties. Woah it really has been a petty crazy 8 months. I guess I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Hello September. It took me eight days for it to officially sink in. It's September! I'm so ready for some fall fashion. Especially some wallpaper fall fashion *wink*. I hope you guys had a lovely long weekend. x -C

The sun is shining, and the it's almost the long weekend. My sister and Yavey [also known as David, my brother in law] are on their way here. Tres excited to show them the shore this weekend. // HAPPY LAUNCH DAY

HAPPY LAUNCH DAY! Collection N Twelve is officially here! Fairytales, magic and all. It was a lazy Saturday morning when I started this collection. I was watching Alice and Wonderland [the one with Johny Depp] with my computer open and my feet up. I had no idea what this was going to look like but I'm really happy with the way that it turned out. This collection was about paying attention to the small details.
