Mary Be is open! We tried their food this weekend and it was delicious. So is their coffee actually. My Americano was wonderful. I'll have proper installation shots up soon!

October felt like one long weekend. How is it almost November. The launch of Collection N 33, the opening of Palm Lane , Mary Be's cabbage installation, meetings with Rustik Design - CKD finally experimenting with 3D wallpaper, meetings with a Ali Ghassemi from Weaver & Loom teaching me the true meaning of bespoke rugs (and making samples for CKD's newest venture), approving samples for Caleigh's newest Bolo - a boxing/fitness gym opening soon in Toronto, rug samples arriving for interior designer Kate Thornley-Hall, Maman Cafe opened their newest location in FRANCE, CKD will walk the streets of Paris. I tend to get caught up with the need to constantly push boundaries with CKD that I forget to take a second to like, breathe. A lot has happened this month no wonder it's felt like a blur.
My hands are currently covered in paint - I've been painting hummingbirds all morning for Kate's newest rug design while listening to Dermot Kennedy. I'm refilling my coffee and have no plans of changing out of my sweatpants anytime soon. The perfect Monday. I'm excited for what November will look like. Things are starting to get very very exciting. K, just thought I'd say hi. x -C

Mary Be's one and only cabbages are up! This new space opening in just a few weeks. The space has been designed so beautifully. Can't wait to see it all done.
This is me carrying a huge roll of wallpaper down Yonge street this morning. This photo was taken before I tripped over my feet and fell hitting the person walking beside me who then gave me a dirty look instead of helping me back up. Life of glamour. Mary Be's Cabbages are going up tomorrow!

Palm Lane is ready and open for business. Still blows my mind to see my brain on the walls.
// Darling, Issue No. 21
Just received Darling's newest fall issue! CKD covers two pages alongside Estee Lalonde. Pretty surreal. This issue is stunning. Darling left every photo of the women in this issue untouched (meaning photoshoped). I'm down with the Darling movement, have been for a while. Honoured to be apart of it.

One of the first things I do when walking into a hotel room is check the closet for their big white comfy bathrobes. The ladies and I spent last weekend in Vegas at the Wynn. I know, not the best time to go to Vegas. Tina had a conference to attend, and we had no plans on leaving the hotel. Aside from the Wynn's magical beds and bathrobes - life in CKD land has been a little busy. Mary Be's cabbages go up next week, Collection N 33 is officially here, skateboard decks are coming, and a collaboration with the talented Rustik Design is happening. Oh, and there's something new in the works - aside from CKD and wallpaper - a brand new company. Also, Chance the Rapper has been on replay all week in the studio. K back to work, just saying hi. x -C

Collection N 33 is live! There's a lot more white than I anticipated, but I like the way it turned out. See the full collection here! x -C

3D wallpaper has been a goal of mine since I started designing wallpaper. I speak about it all the time to whomever would listen. Durning my shoot with Ilich Charles mentioned his friend Anthony does incredible work that sounds like something I would be interested in. Charles was right. Look at that beauty. All crafted by hand. We have some really cool ideas for collaborating that I can't wait to see come to life! God, life is so exciting sometimes.
