Loved the detail with the baggy jean.

The weather is starting to get colder in New York City! New York in the fall is by far my most favourite season. Light jackets, smell of pumpkin lattes, big cozy sweaters with tight skinny jeans and boots, Saturdays in bed because it's too cold to get outside. Central park strolls with Dan (he doesn't know about these yet). Anyways, I hope you're enjoying the Monday. Happy new week!

I haven't had wifi in my house for the past 4 days which can explain my non-journaling lately. That's a lie, well half of a lie. I haven't had wifi in my house for the past two days. Time Warner Cable sucks. The past couple weeks have been crazy with Market and lookbook shoots. My days start at 9 am and end around 8 pm. Working Saturday and Sunday, while trying to keep my social life alive.

Britt flew in for the weekend from T.Dot and Ash who lives in London, England was here for Fashion Week with her PR company and extended her trip! It was just so nice to have them here. I miss my ladies.

We dragged Dan to a ladies dinner night at Miss Lily's last night. Then went out on the town. What a trooper. mmm what else has happened lately other than work. Nothing! Alright, back to work. x -C

Waking up earlier than I needed to to run around the streets of new york in the heat wasn't exactly my idea of fun. But then I got there and I remembered how much fun it was to run around with my camera. Anyway, here's a photo of Anna Wintour outside the Victoria Beckham show. I'll have more up tomorrow! Hope you're enjoying the weekend! x -C

Wow, this week feels like it went by in two days but with a month full of things going on. Fashion Week has started, Market has started, Candice's work life has taken on a new role at a fashion development company that she's fallen in love with. It's like smart fashion. My life of finding myself in places that I would have never imagined is still continuing. I'm not complaining. It keeps me on my toes.

It's 8:36 pm on a Friday night. I just got home about a half hour ago. I poured myself a glass of whiskey and Modern Family is on my television. Classy New York Friday night, am I right? I really should work out or something. I should. Or I could put on a dress and drag my roommate to the soho house for our favourite cocktail. I really should nap too. I'm exhausted. mmm ok, getting ready. Happy TGIF x -C

As I threw on my T shirt with my black Club Monaco skirt and searched for my heels for work this morning [it's the start of Market, also known as a the busiest month for fashion], I thought about my weekend and it felt like so long ago.

Thank goodness the weather on Sunday was sunny and beautiful. We took the boat to F Cove, and didn't leave there until later that evening. F Cove is literally just a bunch of boats sitting beside each other with music and coolers filled with diet cokes...

When I got home last night from work, I finished up the video from the weekend! That will be up later : ) The last weekend of summer really did end just beautifully.

One of the girls brought over flash tattoos, which we stuck on ourselves before F Cove. I haven't felt that excited about arts and crafts in a while. I've become obsessed. Ordered more this morning. There are new horoscopes up! You can read yours here!

// BEACH TOWN

// BEACH TOWN

Last weekend of summer. Thank goodness it's going to be 80's and sunny all week. Although, It is September, which means fall, which means my favourite season of the year.

Anyway, here is a half recap of my weekend at the Shore [more tomorrow]. Dan and I escaped to the beach for the day. He taught me how to dive under waves. Between you and I they made me a little scared, they were definitely on  the larger side. I've decided my dreams on becoming a surf babe are going to have to wait until I have proper lessons.

We stopped at the cutest breakfast place before the attacking waves adventure at the beach. I believe it was called the General Store. Full of antiques! If you walked through the eating area, there was another huge area full of more antiques. Gold mine I tell ya. I can't wait to have my own home. I feel bad for whoever has to marry me. So many fun arts and crafts activities.

Dan introduced me to the Pork Roll. Apparently it's a huge thing in Jersey. I'm not the biggest fan of pork, but it really is delicious.

Ok, that's all for this morning. Time to get ready for the day. I'll have more up tomorrow on our day at F Cove. I also took a lot of video footage this weekend. Hopefully have something put together for this week! K bye. x -C
