// MORNING DREAMING

// Morning dreaming

It's Fashion Week in New York, a week for the past two years since living here has been my favourite week of the year. The weather is still beautiful, lower Manhattan is packed with fashionable people and photographers, and parties filled with celebrities go all night long. I shot runway my first year in New York. I loved everything about the photographers pit  and shooting street style. It's funny how much life can change in just a year or so. I'm currently home, taking a little break from New York, sitting in my backyard and working on my newest design collaboration with Rogers. I plan to return to all the fashion week fun, just the next time not holding my camera crammed in the photographers pit, or running around chasing all the well dressed street style. Perhaps I make a runway of my own? Interior textile on runway with moving walls and a chandelier stage. I like the sounds of that :) Dreaming big over here. I hope you're enjoying the morning! x -C

// FALL 15

// Collection N Twelve

It's September people. Which means it's time to take down your summer wallpaper, and put up Collection N Twelve. This collection was designed with dark grounds and bright artwork. The contrast is meant to give that rich fall cozy feeling, yet still maintain brightness and excitement. No one wants to put all that time and effort into wallpaper without it making some sort of statement, amiright? Click here to see the full collection! x -C

// LABOUR DAY WEEKEND

// Summer vibes

Ok, it's not the end of the summer just yet. New York's weather is still hot throughout September so let's not get ahead of ourselves. This weekend was the most relaxing weekend I've had at the shore yet. No boat days, just a packed cooler and beach time. It was much needed. I feel like I've been non-stop since December. New job, flights home for weddings and bachelorettes, VISA's, apartment moving across town, new collections, launch parties. Woah it really has been a petty crazy 8 months. I guess I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Hello September. It took me eight days for it to officially sink in. It's September! I'm so ready for some fall fashion. Especially some wallpaper fall fashion *wink*. I hope you guys had a lovely long weekend. x -C

// MORNIN'

The sun is shining, and the it's almost the long weekend. My sister and Yavey [also known as David, my brother in law] are on their way here. Tres excited to show them the shore this weekend. It's going to be glorious, and I'm in need of a tan! If you missed yesterday's news, Wonder, the fall '15 Collection N Twelve has officially launched! Click below to take a look!! x -C

// WONDER COLLECTION N TWELVE FALL'15

// HAPPY LAUNCH DAY

HAPPY LAUNCH DAY! Collection N Twelve is officially here! Fairytales, magic and all. It was a lazy Saturday morning when I started this collection. I was watching Alice and Wonderland [the one with Johny Depp] with my computer open and my feet up. I had no idea what this was going to look like but I'm really happy with the way that it turned out. This collection was about paying attention to the small details. I wanted to create artwork that filled every inch of your wall with detail and therefore would be appreciated differently when taking a step closer [you can read the full story behind the collection here] Alright let's get to the fun stuff, to see the full collection hit the button below. I hope you like it! x -C

// AMERICAN PHAROAH

// Location: Saratoga

Hello :) Back from a weekend spent in beautiful Saratoga. I was a first timer and fell in love. Fancy dresses, big hats, Southern vibes, oldest race track in all of America, and of course the best company [it was hard not to]. I'm usually really lucky with gambling [roulette is my shit] but the horses made me work for it this weekend. I'm down $60.00, not even a penny in winnings. The views made it worth it. It felt like a movie set and all magical and stuff, and you know how much I love magic and stuff. Dan's grandfather "Pop" [pronounced Pap] worked on the Saratoga grounds for about 26 years before he retired. Every year he would take his family down for the Travers race, the biggest race of the year. The crowd was incredible. All there to watch the famous American Pharoah. The horse who won the Triple Crown, and then came first in every other big race to follow. If he won the Travers race [a race that the past Triple Crown winners haven't been able win to since 1941], he would have made history, and would be announced the fastest/strongest horse in history. He lost in just the last second. Upsetting ending, but the excitement was all worth it.

The road trip home consisted of cute pit stops in towns I've never heard of before for fresh market fruit, antique shopping, and delicious lunch. Alright, it's back to reality. I'm missing that hotel bed already. Those pillows tho :)

// WONDER

// Collection N Twelve

Neverland - the place where no one grows up, mermaids exist, and people can fly. A place I would love to be at right now and a place where inspiration was found for the new fall collection. Fairytales have always been a big part of my life. At times I feel silly talking about them out loud, I'm a 27 year old after all but meh. I'm excited to show you the fall collection. I feel like it's a true representation of who I am and who I'm becoming as an artist. Still very uncertain with how my work will evolve, I feel like I'm finally moving in the right direction, so I guess I'm feeling rather comfortable in this uncertainty. I guess all there is to do now is to push harder and create better work. I have my work cut out for me for this Winter.

Anyway, I hope you're enjoying the day. If you haven't read your horoscope yet, click here! Talk soon, x -C
